On 1st January 1960, the Territory of the Windward Islands
disbanded, becoming the 4 territories of Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia
and St. Vincent & the Grenadines, within the West Indies Federation.
Today, the islands comprise the independent nations of
Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and
of Trinidad & Tobago.
